Beauty Before The Darkness

Stop. Observe. Take it all in. Breathe.

For the past two weeks, I have been writing exams. We all know what exam week is like. For me, this might have been the hardest exam period ever. I was so stressed that I never even panicked I just calmly accepted it like ” Yeah, stress, and sadness this is what I am”. And so when I finally finished I was ready. I was ready for all the emotions that were suppressed by the exams to release themselves. Immediately after my last exam I grabbed my bag, went straight to the lake, I took my blankie out and sat. I sat there waiting, waiting for the beast to unleash itself.

Guess what? The beast didn’t come guys. I was so ready to face I guess its just waiting for a day when I think my life is going great.  Anyway, it didn’t come. So instead I looked around me, intently observed the surrounding and took it all in. First with my eyes and then with my camera. Here are a few shots.

It is a joy, isn’t it?  To watch the sun as it goes down and watch the clouds continuously circle around. To see the beauty right before the darkness.

Next time you have the opportunity to see the sunset. Stop and take a breather from your hectic life. Really, just shut everything out.  Appreciate this amazing creation and all its might. Because even if you think you’re big and tall, it reminds you of how small you really are. If you are having a bad day

“Sunsets are proof that no matter what happens, every day can end beautifully.”

So stop. Observe. Take it all in. Breathe. Watch the trees as they blow with the light wind and the leaves as they rattle. Let the colours bleed through the clouds and sink into your skin. Forget everything and enjoy.
